What is Join Dementia Research?
One of the big difficulties researchers face today is recruiting participants for their studies. At the same time, many people are looking for studies to contribute to and take part in, but don’t know where to find out about them.
Join Dementia Research delivers new opportunities for people wanting to make a difference for people living with dementia now and in the future; connecting researchers with people who want to participate in studies. The service was developed by Alzheimer Scotland, in partnership with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), Alzheimer’s Research UK and Alzheimer’s Society.
With Join Dementia Research, you have the chance to see what dementia research is taking place, both in their local area and across the nation.
Right now, 14 studies are currently active in Scotland.
